# A letter has arrived from Centrelink, a fund or the home

## Forward it to us. We read it, deal with it and tell you what it means.

Forward it to us. Text a photo to 0489 274 766, or forward the email to admin@primeyears.com.au. No covering note needed. We read it, deal with it, and tell you in plain words what it means and whether you need to do anything.

### What we do with it

- File it on your record
- Check it against what we expected
- Reply, or send what's been asked for
- Tell you what it means, and whether you need to do anything

### If it has a deadline

Some letters ask for a reply or information by a date. Text us and say it's urgent, and we'll prioritise it.

### If it asks for more information

We tell you exactly what's needed. You send it to us once, and we send it on and follow it up.

### If it mentions a debt or an overpayment

Forward it straight away. We check where it came from and talk you through the next step before you do anything.

### If a payment stops or a card doesn't arrive

Tell us, with any letter you've had. As your nominee, we find out why from Centrelink.

### If it's about aged care fees

We send Centrelink's assessment to the aged care home, with a copy to you, and check the home's first invoice matches it.

### Letters from your funds, banks or the home

Forward these too. We tell you whether anything needs doing, and handle it where we can.

Not sure whether a letter matters? Send it anyway. We'd rather see it twice than miss it once. For anything about your own money, talk to your adviser.
