# How we keep you updated

## The emails, texts and guides that tell you where things are up to, and when to expect them.

You don't need to chase us for news. We email you as each step is done, with what comes next and whether we need anything from you. Our updates come with "Your year with us", a one-page guide that shows where you're up to.

### The emails you can expect

- **Welcome:** what we need from you, and your year ahead.
- **You're set up:** onboarding is done, and your advice is next.
- **Your nominee arrangement:** once Centrelink accepts us as your nominee.
- **Each Centrelink lodgement:** what we lodged and when, then the outcome once Centrelink replies.
- **Your advice is ready:** with a link to book your advice presentation meeting.
- **Your advice, to keep:** after that meeting, with the recording.
- **Your accounts:** as each one opens.
- **Done:** a note of what we put in place, once it's all checked.

### Texts work both ways

Text us any time. We may text you too, for example if we've missed you on the phone or an email is on its way.

### If something will take longer

Some steps depend on others, such as a fund processing a form. If a step is going to take longer, we tell you before it does.

### Through the year

- **Ongoing service:** in early February we email you to update your details and book your April or May review. Your review pack arrives a week before.
- **The Concierge:** we check in about anything that's changed, so Centrelink stays up to date, and in month 11 we email you to book your review.

Between steps, if we contact you, it's because something affects you, such as a rule change, a letter or a decision coming up.
