# The three tracks: financial planning, Centrelink and facilitation

## What each of the three tracks covers, and why they run side by side once onboarding is done.

Once onboarding is done, your work runs in up to three tracks, side by side. Each has its own steps and its own owner in our team, and we keep them coordinated so you don't have to.

### Financial planning

Every household. Your adviser sets your strategy and we prepare your Statement of Advice. You go through it with your adviser at your advice presentation meeting, sign once, and we put it in place. ### Centrelink

Part of every engagement, not a separate service. We become your nominee, check your Centrelink record against your fact find, and lodge claims and updates for you. We tell you each time we lodge something, and warn you first if an update would reduce or stop a payment. If there's nothing to claim yet, we tell you that too. ### Facilitation

Only for households moving into aged care or a retirement village. You and your family choose the home or village: we never choose it. We handle the papers, check the agreement or contract, help with the payment and check the first invoice. It runs to the timing of the move. ### Why side by side

The tracks depend on each other. For aged care, your advice covers how to pay for the home. Once your advice is in place, we update Centrelink. With one team running all three, you're not the go-between.
