Two ways to work with us: ongoing service and the Concierge

Who ongoing service and the Concierge suit, how each level differs, and what stays the same either way.

We work with households in two ways: ongoing service, for money looked after for good, and the Concierge, 12 months for a specific job. In your initial meeting, your adviser says which fits and explains the fees, which are set out in writing before anything is agreed.

Ongoing service: Core or Comprehensive

Your investments are brought together in one place, on the platform we recommend, in our model portfolio.

  • Core suits a straightforward position, such as super and some savings.
  • Comprehensive suits more going on, such as investment properties, shares, trusts, capital gains or complex Centrelink. It adds a second review in October or November.

The Concierge: Standard or Comprehensive

The job might be aged care, a retirement village move or a retirement plan.

  • Standard suits one clear decision and a simple picture.
  • Comprehensive suits a bigger picture, such as several properties, shares to sell or a family still deciding. It adds tax and capital gains planning with your accountant, a review of wills, powers of attorney and super nominations, structured updates for the family and, for aged care, ongoing checks of the home's invoices.

What's the same

Onboarding, the three tracks and the team. Nothing is signed in a meeting, and your advice comes in one DocuSign envelope.

What's different

  • Length: ongoing service carries on year after year. The Concierge ends 12 months from the day you pay.
  • Reviews: ongoing service has a review every April or May, which is also your tax planning session. For aged care and village moves, the Concierge adds a review once sale proceeds come in, and another if health or circumstances change.
  • Your agreement: ongoing service has an Ongoing Service Agreement, signed with your advice and again at each April or May review.
  • Month 11: the Concierge has a review with your adviser, and one of four ways forward. See When your 12 months end.
